Hello,

We are recompiling ffmpeg on Ferarri to enable .3gp support. The FFMPEG support will be down for some time as we will be recompiling the modules from scratch.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but as you see we are tying to inbuilt the .3gp support on the server for more video compatibility.
Thanks for your patience..

Please stay tuned to this thread for further updates..

FFmpeg support is now resumed on Ferarri.. although it is without .3gp support. Here are few reasons that we could not enable .3gp support on ferrari :

We have other servers running Centos 4.5. Ferarri is built with Centos 4.6. The version difference causes many dependancy issues to enable .3gp support on Centos4.6

FFMPEG and Mencoder versions have been updated on their official websites. The new versions of ffmpeg and mencoder do not support the amrnb and amrwb support for now. I hope the developers of ffmpeg are working on this to get it fixed.

Hence, since there was no option left, we had to re-enable ffmpeg with the previous working builds on the server and it is working now for all other file extensions.
